Maximizing Deals: The Project Kickstarter

Today I’m going to share a tool that helped close five figure project deals at ACEVEDO Co. We call it The Project Kickstarter.

In tomorrow’s Made In House release, my husband Angel and I showcase a few of our favorite projects. Some of these were created out of our design studio in Miami, ACEVEDO Co. I saw an opportunity to bundle this email with "The Project Kickstarter.” Equipping you with the means to money making deals.

The Project Kickstarter is a tool we created to optimize our Discovery calls / meetings. This is how it works:

  1. Once there’s  a lead you’re interested in, send the Kickstarter.

  2. Ask the prospective client to fill it out before the Discovery call.

  3. Review it internally. Write down any questions or thoughts.

  4. Discuss those during your call or communicate that you may not be a good match.

The benefit is that it helps steer all involved parties toward a shared focal point right from the outset: Are we a suitable match? Just because someone has a need and you have a solution, doesn’t mean you should engage in business. There are other variables to consider. Here are some examples:

  1. 💸 Is this hitting my minimum level of engagement (MLE)?

  2. 💘Do I believe in this project?

  3. 📈Does it align with my goals / values?
