Finding Value And Inspiration In Creativity

Happy Labor Day! I hope you can take some time today to relax and reflect. As I grow older and now that I have a son, I've started to think about time differently. I aim to find value and meaning in each day. That's why I've been pondering the significance of Labor Day. This holiday is for you, “a day to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the contributions of workers to the development and achievements of the United States.”

Thank you for your courage in pursuing your creative endeavors. The act of creation takes bravery, and your work inspires and enriches our lives.

Today, I'd like to share a few quotes from some of my favorite reads:

1. "Don't grow impatient with where you are." — Bob Iger, The Ride of a Lifetime

2. "Questions are the first link in the chain of discovery and innovation." — John Maxwell, Good Leaders Ask Great Questions

3. "Behavior and quality, over time, build trust." — Scott Bedbury, A New Brand World

4. "Culture is created and defined from the top down. But it comes to life from the bottom up." — Jon Gordon, You Win In The Locker Room First

5. "Winning a race is all about pace." — Darren Hardy, The Compound Effect

6. "The key is to fail, learn, and improve quickly." — Ray Dalio, Principles

May these inspire you on this Labor Day as you continue your creative journey.
