Cash, Creativity, and Confidence: My Entrepreneurial Journey

Today, I want to share key lessons I'm picking up as an entrepreneur:

01 — Decide without fear.
Make decisions logically, considering all angles in a 360-degree approach. Be quick to embrace reality but slow to process it. When I make scared decisions I commit to quick fixes (like accepting a cheaper rate to cover an expense.)

02 — Ask others how they are doing it.
Your community has answers; tap into it.

03 — Apply creative thinking.
Don't limit creative problem-solving to your projects; leverage it for your business. Explore all possibilities before dismissing any.

04 — Stay close to your customer.
Fulfilling God is a designer® orders over the weekend reminded me that people all over the world support this brand—they believe in it too. It boosted my spirits.

05 — Draw confidence from past problem-solving.
While packaging a hat, I remembered what it was like to figure out safe and cost-effective shipping. That previous victory boosted my confidence for what's ahead.

06 — Cash is crucial.
Maintaining a healthy cash flow provides flexibility for decision-making. This is a priority for our business in 2024. We are using the Profit First approach to systemize it into our operations.

While not everyone is an entrepreneur, I believe these principles can still be applied. We all encounter fear, face uncharted territory, and have access to a network we can tap into. Let’s keep at it, winning one day at a time.
